The goal of this assignment is to provide students with an opportunity to write a FBA and a BIP to change another person’s behavior

Both the FBA and the BIP should be written in complete sentence and paragraph format. The FBA should include an ABC data table with at least 20 rows. The FBA should be at least 1 page in length and the BIP should be at least 1-2 pages in length.

Students should be sure to touch on the following areas in their reports:

• Operational Definition of the problem behavior(s) and the replacement behavior(s)
• Function of the problem behavior(s) and the replacement behavior(s)
• Reinforcement plan for the replacement behavior(s)
• Punishment or Extinction plan for the problem behavior(s)

Therefore it is hypothesized that the function of this behavior is escape\avoidance and access to the tangible.
